In short: Your voice recordings stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us or shared with anyone else, and are never used to train anything. There is no account, and we do not collect personal information about you.

Welcome to Accent Mirror ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how the Accent Mirror mobile application (the "App") handles your information. Accent Mirror is an accent-training app: it records a short sample of your voice and plays it back to you with a clearer native accent, so you can practise by imitating it.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Voice Recordings
The App uses your device's microphone to record your voice. Your recordings are stored on your device, are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and are never used to train any model. You can delete them from within the App at any time.
2.2 Purchase Information
If you start a free trial or make a purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchases, which processes transaction data (such as an anonymous purchase identifier, product purchased, and subscription status) so the App knows what you have access to. We never receive or store your payment card details.
2.3 What We Do Not Collect
- We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
- We do not collect analytics or usage-tracking data from the App.
- We do not show advertisements, and we do not share data with ad networks.
- We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to anyone.
3. Permissions We Request
- Microphone: required so the App can record your voice and play it back with a cleaner accent. This is the core function of the App. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, though the App cannot function without it.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the App: your voice recording is used to generate your practice target and to let you compare your attempts.
- To process purchases: purchase information is used to unlock and restore the features you have paid for.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Local storage: your recordings and generated audio are stored on your device. We have no access to them.
- Third-party services: purchase data handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat is stored on their systems in accordance with their own privacy policies.
6. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information. Your voice recordings are never shared with anyone. The only data shared is purchase information, and only with the providers needed to process and restore your purchases:
- Apple and Google, for payment processing
- RevenueCat, for subscription and purchase management
7. Your Choices and Rights
- You can delete your recordings from within the App at any time.
- You can revoke microphone access in your device settings at any time.
- Uninstalling the App removes all recordings and generated audio from your device.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. As the App does not collect personal information from any user, this is unlikely to arise. If you are a parent or guardian and have a concern, please contact us.
